Books / Irish Architecture Books / Introduction | Irish Architecture Books | International Architecture Books | Publishers | Submit a review A Companion Guide to Architecture in Ireland 1837-1921 Jeremy Williams Irish Academic Press The ultimate gazetteer of victorian buildings throughout Ireland, categorised bu county. An invaluable book, especially if you happen to do a lot of travel around Ireland by car (well worth keeping in the glove compartment), Williams must be commended for the sheer quantity of detail in this fine hardback. If there is a quibble, it is the lack of good quality illustrations, as some of the drawings are hard to 'read'.
