Architectural Dublin / Biographies / Michael Stapleton (1770-1803)

Michael Stapleton (1770-1803) is considered the most important Stuccodore of the Georgian period in Ireland. He designs were executed for many of the finest interiors in Dublin. From Dublin, some of his most important interiors were Belvedere House, the Powerscourt Town House and the chapel at Trinity College. He was also the architect of Belvedere House.
