What is A.NON.MAG?

A.NON.MAG is a new concept for an anonymous magazine free of charge. It will function as a platform to communicate and promote a diverse discussion about urban culture and the influence of architecture urban design in particular. Each edition will be designed by a different author who will be responsible for its theme, layout and design. The unifying format is a folded A1 page which will be distributed like a flyer in a wide range of locations ranging from the supermarket to the record-shop to the newsagent. The aim is to allow for a more extreme range of topics, more in-depth statements and reflections by a more diverse range of authors� professional backgrounds. Submissions of a draft can be made by e-mail only. The editorial board will then filter the submissions according to their conceptual and topical quality, allocate a budget and monitor its distribution. A.NON.MAG is funded by sponsorship only and received a publication grant from The Arts Council.
