Architecture of Islandbridge, Dublin

So named because of its positioning at the junction of the Camac and Liffey rivers. Up until 1922, this was known as Sarah Bridge after the Countess of Westmoreland, wife of the Lord Lieutenant at the time of its construction in 1791. This bridge gave the area its name.
